This silky smoothie is just heaven. Walnuts are an excellent source of several vitamins and minerals including copper, folic acid, phosphorus, vitamin B6, manganese and vitamin E. and a great source of Omega-3. They also seal the deal on taste so that you’ll be wondering how can something so good taste so good? We all know about superfood Kale as a nutritional powerhouse packed with antioxidants such as vitamin C, beta-carotene, kaempferol and quercetin. Kale is one of the vegetables with the highest ORAC rating (thats Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity which basically means how good the food is at scavenging free radicals) So not only will you boost your health to protect against several diseases and disorders but you’ll get skin will get a youthful dewy glow from this superfood too.

Cucumber and Apple help keep this smoothie cool and balanced adding extra power to protect brain and bone health whilst keeping you hydrated, skin smooth, and lowering the inflammatory response in your body. And as we always do we like to finish off with a dose of seeds because not only do they all pack a nutritional punch but they are a good source of plant based protein.

Hemp Seeds benefit heart health, aid digestion, help with PMS and particularly can help with dry skin conditions as they balance out omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Flax seeds are high in fibre but low in carbs so they really help digestion but they’ll also benefit your hair and skin. A dusting of Kelp powder helps prevent a taste bud rebellion whilst still getting the benefits of seaweed. It helps lower LDL Cholesterol and boost HDL, and gives a good dose of iodine for healthy thyroid function. Beautiful inside and out!
